Dr. Dana Andrews - Chasing the Dream - Scholarship

Christopher Andrews is organizing this fundraiser.
Dana loved mentoring young engineers and spent three years as an Affiliate Professor, teaching the next generation of innovators at the University of Washington in the Aerospace Engineering department. Under his direction, Dana’s UW Senior Space Design class received first place in the 2012 National Collegiate Revolutionary Aerospace Systems Concepts-Academic Linkage contest, sponsored by NASA. In 2014, he was honored as the University of Washington Distinguished Alumnus of the year.

To honor Dana’s legacy, the family has set up a GoFundMe donation page where 100% of the proceeds will go towards a “Dr. Dana Andrews – Chasing The Dream” scholarship. The scholarship aims to encourage and benefit undergraduate Aeronautics and Astronautics students at the University of Washington who are pursuing careers in Advanced Space Transportation.

We have a stretch goal of $10,000 to support Dana's dream of inspiring the next generation.
