Medical Bills for Ty

Donation protected
In the Fall of 2009, Ty was diagnosed with leukemia. He underwent chemo and went into remission in December of 2009. Ty continued to have chemo at home and in the process of everything welcomed a new little brother to their family.

In the Summer of 2011, when the Sichmeller’s lives had somewhat returned to “normal” they received more devastating new that Ty had relapsed. By August Ty was technically back in remission, however there was still a lot ahead of trying times ahead of him. Finally in September of 2013, Ty got his final round of chemo….or so he thought.

In August of 2014, Ty had just started 2nd grade and was gearing up to play flag football. Ty then started having some pains in his legs, and when he went to the doctor, more heartbreaking news….Ty had relapsed again. Ty has now started chemo again with hopes of getting into remission again, and then having a bone marrow transplant. In the meantime, he is expected to have around a month stay at the “Castle” in Sioux Falls, and then will hopefully be able to go to Minneapolis to have his bone marrow transplant.

We are raising money to help Ty and his family with living expenses, medical expenses and anything else that comes up over this very difficult time for Ty and his family. Ty has an older sister McKenna and a younger brother Taylan who his parents are also trying to care for during this very hard time. Any donations made are greatly appreciated by the Sichmeller Family.
