UPDATE!!!
JOSH had his major operation to remove cancer tumors on his liver and colon 7/22/25. While we thought the surgery was a success in the beginning turned into an emergency surgery 7/26/25 where he had to get a colostomy bag that he has to wear temporarily until he is fully done with chemotherapy. While this wasnt out original surgical plan emergencies happen and I am thankful for his amazing surgeon that was on it. He is on the mend and hoping to go home on Thursday this week. We are so beyond thankful for everyone reaching out and sending prayers up for him. He knows he is loved. Thank you all.

JOSH just completed his 1st 6 rounds of Chemotherapy treatment yesterday. He has responded very well to the treatment even though it has taken a toll on him. He has missed alot of work from the treatment. He is scheduled for a major 6 hour surgery to remove 1/3 of his liver his entire gallbladder and 1/3 of his colon plus any other lymph nodes the surgeon finds. He will be off work for 6 weeks. He has been a trooper thru all this still doing what he can. We are very thankful for everyone who has reached out, donated or shared. Please continue to share this. I hope this update helps you all if your following his Cancer Journey. We will beat cancer.

My husband, Joshua Smith, who would literally give you the shirt off his back, was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer and secondary lung and liver cancer on April 4, 2025, at the young age of 40. This was an extreme shock to our entire family. Josh has the biggest heart I have ever seen in anyone. He loves to make people laugh and loves to chat with anyone. Our kids have named him "Chatty Kathy" because we cannot go anywhere without him knowing someone and starting a conversation. He is the father of some amazing kiddos.

We have been asked by so many people how they can help... Josh is going to have major surgery to get the cancer tumors out in July, and that is going to cause him to be off work for 4-6 weeks, maybe more. Josh works full-time and has been at Subaru for 13 years. He is still working to this day unless he is having treatment, a doctor appointment, or just not feeling well. This donation will go towards medical bills and help pay bills while Josh is off work. The goal is to completely kick cancer's butt and WIN!
