Our IVF Journey

As many of our dear friends and family know, Aaron & I have embarked on the life changing journey to start a family through the medical marvel that is IVF.
We had begun the hard road with daily injections, tears, bruises and constant worry- but made it to egg collection on Monday 21st of October... Unfortunately, my body didn’t respond as well to the stim medications as we had expected and only 7 eggs were collected. From these 7 eggs, only 4 egg were mature & strong enough to freeze.
This has left us in somewhat of a predicament. There had been some ‘miscommunication & misunderstanding’ along the way and our treatment plan had changed, but we found this out after we had gotten the funds needed for the original treatment plan.
This has left us scrambling to find the funds needed to continue our journey to parenthood.
None of this journey or why we have gotten here has been easy- from Aaron battling cancer, to my endometriosis, to lack of funding for cancer survivors to access affordable assisted reproductive technologies.
We are reaching out to our friends, family and loved ones to ask for help to reach our dream. Please donate, share or even send words of encouragement through this difficult journey.
