Rebuild Kerala - restoration effort

Dear friends,
Some of you may be aware that the state of Kerala in India, where we hail from is facing a calamity of enormous proportions – an unprecedented flood that has left hundreds killed and hundreds of thousands displaced. News channels across the world while doing their best, can only partially describe the blow this has created to the state that has always been renowned for natural beauty.

What has been extraordinary is humanity in the time of crisis...
People looking after each other, volunteers risking their own lives to save others, fishermen who charted drowned villages saving hundreds, friends from other states and internationally doing more than what they could even afford.
We are now consoled by the fact that the worst of the calamity is behind us as the rain has abated and the flood waters recede, or is the worst really over?
Building lives back, building whole villages back require a restoration effort like none other. Families we have known for many years, friends that grew up with us and of course complete strangers whom we have never known are in dire need of help.
I am using this message as a platform to reach out to our friends and their connections to spread awareness and request support to REBUILD KERALA
