<div>Just before Thanksgiving 2024, our family received devastating news: Alicia was diagnosed with colon cancer.  Adding to that devastation came another shock- she was diagnosed with breast cancer as well. While the journey has been overwhelming, she remains steadfast in her hope and determination.  She has started an immunotherapy trial at John Hopkins for the colon cancer, which seems promising. Initially, we were hopeful that a lumpectomy would be sufficient for the breast cancer.  However, an MRI revealed a third lump, which means she will need to undergo a mastectomy.

<div>Alicia has dedicated her life to her family and friends, always showing up when they need her most.  She has worked tirelessly and prided herself on being self-reliant.  Asking for help isn't easy for her, but now she needs us to stand by her.

<div>Despite the challenges ahead, Alicia's resilience and positivity have been a marvel to us all.  Anyone who knows Alicia would describe her as compassionate, hardworking, and selfless.  She is the type of person who lifts others up, offering her support without hesitation.  She shows up for her family, friends, and clients time and time again.  She has worked hard her entire life and we want her to have financial peace of mind so that she can focus on her healing while she receives her upcoming treatments and surgeries.
