Dave Doyle's Kidney Transplant

Many of you know the wonderful Doyle family and their amazing faith in the Lord that they have shown through their family's health issues over the years. They have trusted in the Lord and prayed fervently for miracles that God has answered and many doctors have been baffled by. 9 years ago Dave Doyle was in need of a second kidney transplant, his wife-Jenny, donated one of her kidneys to save his life without hesitation. This year his kidney disease that was first diagnosed 25 years ago began attack this kidney and he was again in need of another kidney transplant. The Doyle family and thier friends began praying and trusting that God would provide for them in His timing like he had done so many times before. But they never imagined it would come so soon and in such a way as it did.

On May 27th, they heard from a hurting family friend of their daughter Meghann, who had just lost their generous son and brother to a massive stroke and wanted to see if he happened to be a match for Dave. Miraculously they were a perfect match and were able to do a direct organ donation to Dave. By God's grace and this family's generous donation, Dave underwent his 3rd kidney transplant at Cal Pacific Medical Center on May 30th. He has had a few set backs but his new kidney is working well and he is making progress in the right direction. Please continue to pray for Dave and his recovery and keep the donor's family, the Whitley's, in your prayers too.

The cost for a kidney transplant is approximately $300,000. Even after insurance, the medical bills from this will be overwhelming and stressful.
