Downs baby desperate for surgery

Close family friends that live in Luxor, Egypt had triplets soon after the Terrorist atrocity on a Russian passenger jet in 2015 . One child was born with Down Syndrome and serious heart complications. Before this attack the family had a very successful tourist business however tourism dried up after this incident.

Over the last two years the family have sold all their assets to support the baby’s healthcare needs as there is only a very limited national health service.

Surgeons have now told the family that if the baby doesn’t have heart surgery in the next 10 days, he will become too week and likely pass away.

As a special needs teacher who has worked extensively with Down’s Syndrome children I am devastated that treatment that is readily available in the UK isn’t available on the National health service in Egypt.
The money to pay for the baby’s surgery .
Surgery 1 which is due next week will cost £2300 and hopefully stabilise the baby .
This fund has been set up to raise money for both the surgery which is desperately needed next week as well as further surgery required several months after the first op. Thanks for taking the time to read this story,

Please please help.
