Downpayment for New Gym and Remodel

For 60 long miles in each direction, and for six long months each year there are limited options for children and families in the Mission Valley to recreate together in a hospitable place. For the last seven years Head Over Heels has been filling that need by providing hospitality for children and families in the Valley, offering gymnastics, dance, birthday parties, and a preschool.

In March we were shut down and lost our facility due to COVID-19.  We now have opportunity to purchase  a huge building next to Les Schwab. It is about 50% larger than our previous facility, and will cost us about 50% less each month than what our previous facility cost us. 

The cost of purchasing the building, and doing the remodeling required will be approximately $490,000. We need a 25% down payment which is $122,500. We have saved $55,000, leaving us with $67,500 yet to raise, hopefully by October 3rd.

We would like to close on the building as soon as possible so that we can replace the roof before the snow flies. We hope to be able to start classes in January, and with all the space we will be able to maintain good distancing practices. We have many children - and their parents - eagerly awaiting our reopening, so your gift would mean a lot to them as well as to our family.
