Downey Family Flood Relief

As most of you now know, the Houston Downeys were affected by hurricane Harvey. We received over 5 feet of water in our home, and therefore had to tear everything out, and throw most of our posessions away; we also lost a car in this process.





Thankfully we have flood insurance on our home, enabling us to rebuild; unfortunately our insurance does not cover any of our personal property that was inside the home, and we were denied any financial assistance from FEMA. 

Our family has been so blessed thus far by our family, friends, coworkers, and community. We are so grateful for all the help and donations we have received - that being said, we will need help to replace all of the furniture we lost: dining table and chairs, bed frames, couch, coffee tables, baby furniture, matresses, dressers, clothing, washer/dryer, all of my books, etc.

If you cannot give monetarily, we hope you keep us in your prayers that God continues to bless us as we rebuild our home.
