On Saturday August 26th Dovina Strasser, a mother of 2 players here at OCSA passed away unexpectedly in her sleep. On August 19, 2017 one week prior to her passing ,she had delivered her 4th son Rudy. Anyone who crossed paths with Dovina either on the soccer fields, work, school, or community knew that she was strong, passionate, dedicated, hard working, and loved her family & friends with all her heart. She had just finished her MLT program and graduated in May despite the crazy schedule of travel soccer, work, and family. At Dovina's service Ryan reminisced about a song that sruck Dovina's heart and played it continuously. If Dovina were to give us one last piece of device she would tell us to live by this song "Like I'm Gonna Lose You" by Meghan Trainor. Hug, kiss, and tell your families you love them every chance you get. Here at OCSA we are a family and support one another. We always ask "How can I help?" and here are 2 ways. You can spread the word and get support from other family and friends to use the gofundme page or Ryan's work is holding a Fundraiser at Morre Buick GMC on Friday September 15, 2017 from 10:00am - 5:00pm , $6 per plate for a hotdog, hamburger, chips,and cookie.
