Douglas' Top Surgery Fund

Hello everyone!

My name is Douglas. I am a 19 year old transgender man in college. I started my transition last October, and it has made a huge increase in my quality of life. What comes next for me in trying to live a more fulfilling life is top surgery, which I am hoping to get in May 2021.

Currently, I'm binding, which limits my range of motion, my breathing, and makes me sore all the time. Getting this surgery done would be a huge step in living a fuller and happier life, both physically and mentally. However, top surgery will in total cost about $7000 out of pocket, which is a sizable financial burden for me currently. Between being a college student and personal financial stress, money is tight. So, I'm asking for some support from my peers and community in this big step in my life.
