Dougie Dawg's Scortched Fortress

Yesterday, February 11th, at 4pm. Doug Terrill’s home burned to the ground. Luckily he wasn’t home at the time. Unfortunately, the home is a complete loss. Now homeless, heartbroken, and with only the clothes on his back, he needs support to help cover the cost of finding a new place to live, or rebuilding, and replacing material necessities.
Doug’s house was his hobby. Every extra penny he had he put towards remodeling and improving the home. He is an ambitious and talented woodcraftsmen and made his own countertops and cabinets. Watching the home he had put so much sweat, blood, and love into, the home he single handedly raised his four children in burn to the ground was heart wrenching.
Doug has a number of serious health conditions including heart failure, diabetes, and arthritis. He’s had multiple heart attacks and last fall he had a stroke. For these reasons he went into disability retirement in 2015 after being a local 48 union electrician for over 30 years. Being a single dad of four with his medical conditions he was never able to put together much savings. With his social security and retirement benefits he was able live, but not put much money aside. He is in desperate need of any help he can get.
