Our hearts were all broken when God chose Doug to be an Angel on August 5th to a tragic boating/tubing accident. All of Doug's family is devastated and
our hearts ache for the time we won’t get with him anymore and things we wish we would have said or done. He will forever be remembered and loved so much.
Crystal and their boys, Tyler, Dylan, Devin, and Logan will need our help as they face the future without their hero.
As Crystal put it " Our world was turned upside down today when my husband died in a tragic boating/tubing accident. I don't have many words right now, it doesn't feel real or seem possible... all I know is that my heart is broken into a million pieces and my boys have lost the best Dad in the whole world. Please pray for comfort for my boys and that God would guide me in knowing how to help them through this seemingly impossible journey..."
Doug and Crystal had a storybook wedding, a love that you could feel by just being around them and they had just celebrated 17 years of marriage. Doug was an amazing father and very involved with all of the boy's activities. He was everyone's best friend, buddy and his family was his everything but he was their ROCK.
Please know that family is stepping in to help with immediate financial burdens but this account will help with future expenses from four boys becoming teens to education costs. If you desire to help the Stavenjord family with the future that Crystal is facing and will try to manage on her own, please know that ALL of the proceeds from this account will go directly to an account at STCU set up for their future.
