Doug Schifferle Sr. Medical Expense

This "Go Fund Me Page" is being started for our father Douglas Schifferle Sr., of Buffalo, NY..... for help with expenses related to previous/ongoing and future surgeries to  come which are related to cancer and treatments.  Douglas, is a Vietnam veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange during his military service in the 1960's.  Regardless of the cause, Douglas, has thus far endured the fight of and for a lifetime.  Prayers were first answered with his gift of a new lung.  We were all so thankful for that!   His new lung was only the beginning.  Last year Douglas, was diagnoesed with cancer located in his mouth.  This is the issue which remains and is on going, with surgeries up coming in late November 2017-you may be able to imagine the stresses this has on the family.  More directley with Douglas's loving wife  Einas, who has remained by his side throughout all of these medical procedures,  recoveries and now more procedures. Douglas, will have to be in Pittsburg, PA  for abouth two months for these next surgery to attempt to remove cancer fom his jaw before it spreads to other parts of his body.  As you can imagine, the expenses for his wife to stay  with him throughout will be immense.  As has been the case which leads to where things are now.  The family wants to thank  everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers,and assistance, combined with others may give Douglas, a Veteran, Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and Great Grandfather; a chance to have our prayers answered with a means for life with such a wonderful and loved family member to go on!!
