Doug Fatouretchi Recovery Fund

This past August our Dougie was viciously attacked and left for dead near his home in Oakland. He was missing from his family and friends for over a week. Doug was a John Doe in the hospital alone until he could communicate after regaining consciousness. The level of brutality of Doug's beating is incomprehensible. His skull was kicked in and bones were broken throughout his body. Doctors had to remove his left cranial bone flap due to swelling. He's suffering loss of mental functions and it's too early to tell if he'll sustain any permanent brain damage.  Doug has months, and possibly years of rehab and medical procedures ahead of him to recover. 

 Doug has been a loyal, dedicated team member at the legendary nightclub Endup for over a decade. As a patron, I've seen him work his butt off, cleaning up after thousands of people who have enjoyed so many magical memories there.  As Doug's friend, I still can't understand how anyone could do something so heinous to this kind and gentle soul.  I'm hoping we can all come together to show him the love we have for him and help him on his long journey towards recovery.
