Dotty's ICU Adventure

Dotty entered the ICU on March 6th, 2018 and will soon be transferred to a rehabilitation facility. Her body is having trouble maintaining correct CO2 levels, but hospital staff are confident that rehab, a bi-pap machine, and other meds will help her recover.
We are very fortunate that a good amount of her medical expenses are covered by Medicare and Medical. However, we are still finding this to be an expensive endeavor. And, as she heads to rehab we are realizing that her studio apartment will need some modifications to allow her to return comfortably to independent living. If possible, we would also like to find ways to ensure that she has access to quality in home care, healthy meals, and to hire cleaners to regularly help keep her place healthy and livable until she is able to do that on her own.
