A SAFE HOUSE FOR GIRLS (After School)

 
When we support the growth and empowerment of women and girls, we raise the quality of life for everyone.  

I am honored to launch “Daughter Of The King Mentoring After-School Safe House ” an organization going in at the ground level and supporting girls and young women in under-served communities through the practice of mentoring.  

My name is CASMÈ and I'm seeking assistance in providing a safe place for girls after school in the New Orleans area. If you know me, you know that for the last couple of decades my heart has been in helping young girls! Studies show that teen girls and boys are likely to become victims of violence, mischief, unwanted pregnancies and more during the hours of 3:00pm to 6:00pm due to a lack of parental supervision. We have a chance to save young girls from abuse, neglect and negativity.

The Daughter Of The King House will be  for teen girls between the age of 12 and 18 years of age! The target date to open is January 2022 and will be open from Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

The $150,000 raised will cover getting our  rent, utilities, furniture, meals, hygiene, operational costs and staff for our 1st year.

We’re raising money for the girls in order to be able to provide them with everything they would need without them worrying about having the money to participate. With that being said, we are asking for your assistance to help cover rent, utilities, hot meals and items needed to help them feel comfortable daily. We will have a kitchen, a study room for them to do homework and a game room once homework is complete. Everyday they'll be reminded of their value and worth when the enter the house. Our DOTK House will be created to enhance the development of young girls and provide a forum to expose them to the benefits and the importance of positive self love, value, image, responsible personal conduct, respect for self and others via educational achievement, cultural enrichment and mentoring.
