Ashton's hearing fund

Ask yourself If you could do anything to help your child would you do it? Even if its out of your comfort zone? Feeling defeated is the worst feeling in the world and that is why we are here for Ashton... Back in Feb Ashton had surgery for his right ear he had developed a growth called cholesteatoma. They had to go in and reconstructed his ear canal they put in a prosthetic ear bone because it eroded his. And it caused perminate hearing loss to his right ear. Cholesteatoma is a serious condition and when diagnosed requires prompt treatment. The thin plate of bone that separates the roof of the ear from the brain can also erode this exposes the covering of the brain and in extreme cases can lead to brain infection. We do not know exactly when Ashton's growth started but we do know that he still needs surgery in his left ear along with hearing aides. We take for granted sounds, to some are nothing but to a little boy can mean everything . Especially when it comes to the learning process . He has already missed some much of just simple phonics to us. We do have insurance but they did not properly cover his last surgery. And will not cover hearing aides. It has been a battle that we have been losing with Aetna. We are trying our best within our financal needs and we know this is tough times for a lot of people right now. If you can not donate at this time we understand. But we ask for prayers for Ashton's healing process. It is difficult for an 11 year old child to cope with the idea of being different and having to wear the hearing aides will be very hard on him. Just the surgeries alone have taken a toll on this amazing young man.  Ashton is extremly amazing if you have ever gotten a chance to meet him he definatly won a piece of your heart. I know God has big plans for him. And with your help and prayers we could speed up the healing process. He has learned to adapted as of right now and I know awesome things things are coming his way.
