<div>My name is Leonie and I’ve made this page in hope to gain some support for my very brave 8 year old Niece Dorothy-Rose. 
</div>

<div>Unfortunately on the 27th February 2025, Dorothy was diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma- a fast growing (high grade) form of Non Hodgkin Lymphoma. Which has been heartbreaking for all of the family.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dorothy has been extremely unwell since diagnosis. She was transferred straight to Intensive Care at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) where she was intubated and required dialysis. 
</div>
<div>She currently still remains at GOSH, now on a children’s Oncology ward receiving intense chemotherapy treatment.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dorothy is expected to remain at GOSH which is far from her home for many months, potentially the full length of her treatment, which is a minimum of 9 months at least. 
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Due to this my Sister Maxine has been staying at GOSH with Dorothy since diagnosis over 2 months ago, and her Husband Dean has been balancing working and caring for Dorothy’s 3 siblings back at home. This has caused an enormous strain financially, emotionally and physically. 
</div>

<div>This is why I have set up a GoFundMe in order to support Dorothy and her family during this extremely difficult time.
</div>

<div>Dorothy has faced so many obstacles and complications during her intense treatment, but is showing incredible bravery and courage. With your help, we can help to ease the pressure on her family and help them to focus on getting Dorothy better.
