Hello, my name is Jennifer Ramirez and I am organizing to release my mom from ICE detention. I am 18 years old, and am currently taking care of my 4 younger siblings —  the youngest being 2 years of age. My mother has been in the US for 23 years and has been a mother and a father for all her children. My step-dad has heart problems, so my mom is one of our home’s main providers. We need our mom home. She was arrested and taken to jail where she was detained by ICE under Tulsa County’s 287g contract, an agreement with ICE that separates families in Tulsa everyday.  Although the charges from the traffic stop were dropped, she is being held in detention by ICE and has been apart from her children for more than a month. Her ICE bond has been posted at $10,000. Dora is her family’s breadwinner, and together we can bring her home for Thanksgiving.
