Hi ev'body! It’s me, Daisy Blue! That’s me swinging in the photo!
I’m an 11 year old Boston Terrier living in California. Since October I’ve been having lots of health issues. It started off with one little seizure, but now my problems increased and I’ve been fainting on and off again over the past 6 months. Right when I think i’m getting better, it acts up again. Lots of tests, but so far all they can conclude on is that I have Pulmonary Hypertension.
Recently, I had to wear a heart monitor for a week and they discovered that my little heart was stopping in the middle of the night. Sometimes for up to 8 seconds!
My pawrents said it’s probably because I love everyone and everything so much that it’s been putting a strain on my little heart.
Right now I’m on 5 types of medications and the vet bills have really added up. Over $6000 so far. So, I wanted to raise money for my family to help out for all the wonderful time and energy they’ve put into helping me keep healthy. I’m hoping the bills won’t increase but there’s still a chance more things could go wrong and I may have to see an Internist next if my meds don't work. But I’m hopeful!
So here’s my plan… I’m starting a campaign called DOODLES FOR DAISY!
DONATE $50 and he’ll draw you a COLOR digital doodle of your pet or a family member (8x10 jpg at 300dpi). AWESOME!
DONATE $300 and my Papa will drive out to you and take photos of you and your furry friend! Then provide you with 3-5 high-res photos. Must be located within the Metro Los Angeles area. RAD!
Or if you just wanted to donate that would be fine, too. Any amount would help with my large vet bills and monthly meds.
