Donta’s recovery & getting a new home!
This go fund me was started by Jean & Donta’s sister in law, Staci Bailey. Jean and Donta’s home is in James City county, Virginia. All funds raised will be used for replacing clothes, furniture, medical bills and deposit and rent on a new home. The fundraiser has been signed over to Jeanie Bailey and funds are set to be directly deposited to her bank account.
On the morning of Aug 4th, 2020 during hurricane Isaias, my brother in law Donta strong stepped outside to check on his car before walking out the door he told his step son to move out the way not sure why and Donta stepped out on the porch that's when the tree struck him throwing him five feet. The tree then crashed into the home buried 17 yr old Caleb but was lucky the area donta told him to move from was impacted hard and would of taken his life if he had stayed. Jeanie and her 9 yr old daughter were in her bed when Jeanie noticed the ceiling caving in she jumped into of her daughter and the roof and everything came down on her but left her daughter without a scratch. They have lost everything and Dontas medical bills have piled up. Currently unable to get around due to their only working car giving out on them the next day. They need donations for a new home and clothes, furniture and household supplies because they lost everything except the clothes they had on when it happened.
