Never say bye, only see you later

Cortez lived life as if every day was his last but on April 14, 2017 two days before his 44th birthday he was diagnosed with Stage 4 bladder cancer that metatisized to several organs. Cancer robbed him of that fun-loving, spontaneous, uplifting spirit quickly and he passed away on Friday, June 16.
We want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, texts, calls and Facebook post since learning of Cortez's death. unfortunately his life insurance termed out a couple of months ago and we are now having to ask for your help to give him a proper send off. He was a member of Most Worshipful King Cyrus Grand Lodge, Chicago, IL and Al Ridha Shrine Temple No. 7.
