Egypt Covington was murdered in her home on June 23rd, 2017 by a gunshot wound to her head. She was only 27 years old, just days shy of her 28th birthday. At the present time there is no one in custody for her murder. As each day passes the hope of finding a killer is getting less and less for her family and friends. We are looking for closure, which we can only gain by knowing what happened to her and why.
There is a killer out there and we need to remind the community not to give up hope that we can find that person. Together we can keep her memory alive by actively distributing material with her face and story.
This fund will help provide continued community support and awareness of Egypt's story which will include her name, her story and the details of her untimely death. All donations will help provide much needed printed material like lawn signs, decals, etc., which will be distributed around Belleville and surrounding communities.
As the funds come in we will immediately use the money to print these materials that will be essential to keep her story alive. All funds will be used to show our community that we refuse to let Egypt Covington's be forgotten.
We need justice for Egypt Covington! We will do this by keeping her picture and story out there in the public view as a reminder to the community and those that loved her. She will not be forgotten! We will find her killer! Please do not give up hope! We will continue to fight for #JUSTICEFOREGYPT

No words can express the love, kindness and gestures, that have been shown to our family. We thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts. We knew Egypt impacted many lives - she was always drawn to those that were genuine and uplifting as her spirit was so kind and loving. Thank you again and again for showing love for our baby.
