Ron Leach: Facing GIST Cancer

Ron Leach is a very talented artist.  His paintings bring much joy to those who see them or are able to have them.  Back in April of 2017, Ron experienced an intense pain in his abdomen.  Ron got really nervous and was almost unable to walk to the emergency room. Feeling bad enough to make him seek treatment, he none the less walked to the emergency room.  Upon being examined, doctors took some images, noted a mass, ordered a biopsy and a few days later, Ron recieved his diagnosis.  GIST Cancer.  Gastrointestinal Stromal Cancer.  As any person might be, Ron was nervous.   As one could imagine, many emotions came over Ron.  A prevailing thought was......I need to do more paintings.....Ron is seeking money to help with his medical expenses so he may continue to grace us with his beautiful paintings. 
Ron requires very expensive medication to help shrink the tumor.  When it is small enough, surgery is necessary.  Funds are appreciated as soon as possible.  Donations will help offset enormous medical bills and help with transportation costs.  For folks who may be in Ron's area (Bayonne, NJ), perhaps a ride to a medical appointment could be arranged instead of a cash donation.  Ron really appreciates any and all donations as his need for medical treatment is serious and the sooner he can complete adequate treatment, the sooner he can be on the road to recovery and painting again !
