Don't Deserve It But Need Your Help

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm absolutely desperate. I really don't deserve the help at this time. People have jumped in to help before. So I have no expectations at all. But I'm desperate.

My wallet disappeared last night. In it, was a money order for my rent and $300 in cash. That money order was as good as cash. If someone found it, it would take someone truly good to give up $1300. And someone used my debit card to buy gas this morning. So someone good didn't find it.

I've been sick a lot this year. Kidney stones have plagued me and pneumonia and a pulmonary embolism took me out of work for five weeks. I was just starting to climb out of the financial hole that caused.

Now, I don’t have my rent, or money for necessities. And my account was overdrawn by the person who bought gas with my card. I have nothing. Absolutely. Nothing.

 I guess humbling myself, which feels humiliating, is the natural progression here. It's too cold to live in a car with two cats. If you can help at all, I'd be completely grateful. But again, I don't expect it. I'm just flat-out desperate.
