Dont be swayed help with Lukes aide

Luke, his fiance, brother and a few friends went out Saturday night to support their friend in an MMA fight. After the fight was over and they were leaving, an upset friend of the losing MMA fight opponent started picking fights with other fans. Luke, trying to stop the aurging, and help his fiance get out, was attacked and beaten. He suffered a skull fracture, two brain bleeds and has swelling on his brain. After spending 2 days in the ICU, he has since been put in the trama unit where he is still fighting for his life. He is barely speaking, using mostly hand signals and head nods to communicate the best he can with those he loves. While Luke is making improvement daily, his road to recovery is going to be long and hard. Doctors at this point are unsure of the amount of time it will take for him to make a full recovery, if at all.
Because of the severity of his injuries, Luke will be unable to return to his job until he shows significant improvement. Luke is also the sole provider for his family, which includes his little boy Brinxston who just turned one. His health insurance was set to start on November 1, 2017.
Trying to work with police and find a lawyer to help press charges against his attacker for the costs for his medical expenses and loss of income has become difficult since no lawyer will even look at the case until the family can get at the very least a $5,000 retainer fee.
Any amount of money will help them get the assistance that his family and little boy need for all expenses this tragic event has cost and will continue to cost them.
