Donny Rust Leukemia Relief Fund

For those of you who don't know, Donny is my Grandma Rust's Grandson. The firstborn son of my Grandma Pearl's brother Don. He is my mother's cousin. He was always around growing up and spent lots of time with us at Swan Lake and hunting out at the ranch. He is a loving father, uncle and son. He was a favorite cousin of my Moms and she passed on her love of Donny to the rest of us. He is very dear to me and I am sickened by his struggle for life. Please donate to his fund and help ease the financial burden he and Sherry are faced with.

Donny Rust has developed Acute Leukemia.  Without intense chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant his prognosis is poor.

How the money will be used:
Help with 4 months of mandatory housing at the Seattle Cancer Care Center. Insurance does not pay for this expense.
Why this is important to me:
Donny is a great man. A father, son, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to so many.  His sense of humor and story telling are immediately recognized as a family trait.  His knowledge of "back in the day", is invaluable.  He and his wife Sherry have just retired and returned to Great Falls to be close to family and enjoy life. He is a link to my heritage and a joy to my heart. He is a fighter and is tough as nails, just as his father was and his mother continues to be.
