I'm Karen. My family suffered a monumental loss when my mom, Donna Gene Huizinga, passed away on March 16, 2025. I created this fundraiser to help us cope with memorial expenses. She is survived by me, my brother Craig, two grandkids, Lindsay and Aidan, and her husband Bill, who had been her sole caregiver for the past 5 years. We are devastated by this crippling loss. All of her memorial costs are being paid out of pocket, and it's been extremely difficult to navigate the financial burden through our grief we are experiencing.
