Donna, or Miss Donna, as so many of us know her, needs our help. Donna is currently in the hospital suffering from a large brain stroke on the left side of her brain. This stroke has left her unable to move her right side or speak. Donna will have a very long road to recovery, which is why she needs your.
Anyone that has spent time with Donna instantly knows her passion - fitness and good health. She has spent most of her life educating and motivating others to be active and fit. Whether she is training an adult looking to get into shape, or teaching children to love physical activity, Donna always gives her full attention and expertise to the job. She has a wonderful love for teaching children - from the ages of 3 and up - the joy and benefits of being physically active. When watching her engage with them, you clearly see her love for each and every child; as well as the love and admiration the children give back to Miss Donna. For many children, attending Miss Donna's Wee Fit class is the highlight of their day!
Donna has another love - her daughter. Donna is a caring, loving and very proud mother of a beautiful, young teenager. It is obvious how close they are to each other and how special their bond is.
Donna is facing an uphill battle, but we all know and believe that she is strong enough- physically and mentally- to overcome this stroke. She will require therapy, caregivers, and other medical help to acheive this recovery. This is why this page has been created. Donna has touched so many of us, and now it is our turn to help her. Please consider donating to help cover the expenses that come with her recovery plan. The money raised here will be given to her family to help pay the medical bills that will be rolling in as she continues to heal and rebuild her strength. The donations will help ease the added stress on the family during this very emotional time. The donations will allow her family to focus on Donna, and not on the mounting costs.
