Donna's Place

I am currently renovating my house as a boarding house for homeless/disabled veterans.  I'm calling the house, "Donna's Place" in memory of my wife of 35 years who recently passed away.  I am in need of help to accomplish this. I need supplies such as construction materials, carpentry work and money too accomplish this. The house shall be the only one in Washington County Maine that provides housing for homeless/disabled veterans. I need a new porch,  chimney repair,  bulkhead door,  new doors,  new locks installed, installation of new smoke/carbon dioxide detectors, wall paper removal, walls painted, insulation, some new windows,  some trees cut down,  renewable energy,  such as solar, wind turbine and geothermal heat pumps, a heat pump hot water heater,  a stair-lift,  a new range, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, along with bedroom, living room and bedroom furniture.  I have a 5 bedroom house and have spent over $60,000 of my own money,  but need $60,000 more to accomplish my goal. I have already installed a wheelchair ramp and put on a new roof.  I installed a new oil burner and a backup propane heating system.  All the pipes and plumbing has been replaced.  I refinished the hardwood flooring and purchased new drapes,  curtains, sheets, pillow cases, shams, blankets, pillows, bed frames, countertop appliances, and some bedroom furniture. The house has  5 bedrooms,  a glassed in veranda porch, a laundry room, a finished off full basement, living room, dining room,  good sized kitchen, mudroom,  entry way, but is in need of things to finish what I need to accomplish my goal.  I intend to also put in a flag pole with a short replica brick and mortar well that has flood lights inside to shine upon the flag at night and the well shall have a plaque on the front of the well saying "Donna's Place".  The house shall also have a sign on it. Saying, "Donna's Place" as well.  The reason I need the trees cut down is to make the solar energy panels along with the wind turbine applicable and to make the energy costs as low as possible.  I'm a disabled Vietnam era veteran myself and have disability problems myself,  so it's very hard for me to do this work.  I live in Baileyville Maine. If you'd be interested in helping by donating your time or materials, please feel free to contact me.
Anyone donating $100 or more shall get a signed copy of my book (Who Dunn it??? The Memoirs of a Live Dead Man!!! Or not???) along with a signed book mark, business card and a letter of thanks for what you have done for "Donna's Place".

Thank you, God bless you, God bless the troops and the United States of America.
Best Regards,
RD Peterson
