Donna Caldwell’s Medical Fund

I am creating this fund for my mom, Donna who is currently battling breast cancer for the 2nd time,  Her first battle was 26 years ago where she did undergo a mastectomy and several rounds of chemo.  So to hear the news earlier this year  that she would have to once again face this cancer was devastating for her to hear.  All of the bad memories came flooding back.  Thank God for medical advancement and good news  that she only had to get a lumpectomy this time.  The bad news was that the tumor was the aggressive type so she would have to go through 7 months of chemo with the last 3 months being weekly.   When chemo is done she will have radiation treatments. She has now completed her long treatments that were spaced 3 weeks a part and has recently started her weekly treatments.  These treatments have put a major strain on her finances.   Her bank account is now on empty.  It takes her an hour to drive to get to her treatments so not only coming up with weekly medical payments but gas money is getting harder and harder.  She is continuing to work but the medical bills are piling up.  She is also the main financial support for my sister and her two children.  It feels awful to not only have your health to be concerned with but also have money be an issue.    If you feel lead to help with gas money or help with medical bills she would appreciate any amount.
