Donkey: A Cultural Biography of an American Public School Teacher was accepted in the Hollywood Fringe Festival happening in June 11-28th.
This show is one woman’s clown journey into the absurd world of Dr. Magee, public school teacher: as she navigates angry parents, huggy adolescents, angry parents, power tripping administrators, and did I mention angry parents? Just another day in the American classroom. It’s so much fun and silly you’d never know it’s about school!
The Hollywood Fringe Festival is an annual international event celebrating the performing arts.
And I need your help.
Donkey is expanding from a 24 minute performance piece to a 60 minute theatrical experience!
I’m asking for financial support for the production cost. Specifically, renting the theatre, tech, cost of the stage manager, costumes, video, publicity, rehearsal space, and administrative fees.
