Desde hace 10 años tomaba todos los días unas pastillas denominadas inhibidores de cinasa tirosina, medicamento raro y de altísimo costo que congela el cromosoma filadelfia, causante de disparar la leucemia. En todos estos años hasta ahora habíamos logrado que el seguro social me lo brindara y siempre vamos a estar muy agradecidos con el seguro social por todo este apoyo, sin embargo, con mi recaída este medicamento ya no es viable y me lo cambiaron por otro que resulta ser más caro y que ahora no lo tiene el seguro social para poder brindármelo y tampoco cuento con seguro de gastos médicos mayores para poder obtenerlo, su nombre es SCEMBLIX (asciminib) de Novartis y su costo se estima por los 109,000.00 MXN por una caja al mes y de la cual parece tendré que tomarlo por un largo tiempo hasta valorar si es viable realizarme un transplante haploidéntico de medula ósea que ayude a la remisión total y espero en Dios definitiva, para este mismo caso, los costos de hospitalización, cuidados y medicamentos son muy altos, alrededor de 1 millón de pesos. Por lo que mientras conseguimos cada mes el medicamento y se dan las condiciones para el transplante, sigo con tratamiento de quimioterapias ambulatorias, medicamentos, algunas transfusiones y reposo en casa. Mi familia y yo somos personas de trabajo y esfuerzo, somos de Fe y confiamos en la providencia de Dios a través de todas las buenas voluntades que suman de una u otra forma en oración, recomendaciones, donaciones y contactos.
