This page is set up to help offset the costs of the funeral arrangements for Faith Crusenberry, a beautiful young soul who passed away after enduring bullying. Please see below for Faith's obituary, and please consider donating to help her family at this very difficult time.
Faith E. Crusenberry, 13, of Berryville, passed away on Sunday Dec. 1st, 2013.
She was born on Oct. 18, 2000 in Leesburg, VA. Faith went to Johnson Williams Middle School in Berryville where she was a regular honor roll student in advanced classes. She enjoyed singing, dancing, music, cooking, fashion, and hair styling.
She is survived by her mother, Alicia Mantz of Berryville, VA; father, Jackie Crusenberry of Dryden, VA; Step-father, Mike Mantz of Berryville, VA; brother Noah Gibson of Berryville, VA; half brother David Mantz of Berryville, VA; half sister Sara Mantz of Berryville, VA; half sister Jordanne Mantz or Berryville, VA; and half sister Kenzie Crusenberry of Jonesville, VA; along with maternal grandparents Anthony Gibson of Berryville, VA; and Debra Buck of Aldie, VA.; paternal grandparents Hester Croy of Jonesville, VA; and Roger Crusenberry of Pennington Gap, VA; along with a host of close aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Faith was considered a great friend by many and was normally the first to speak her mind and crack a joke. She would routinely attend church with her step-dad and could be found helping out in some manner during set up or in the children's ministry. She will be sorely missed by her family and classmates.
Viewing will be held at Adams-Green Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2013 from 5pm until 8pm, friends and family are welcome to attend. Memorial services will be held on Friday Dec. 6th at Christian Fellowship Church in Ashburn, VA, at 9am; with burial to follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Herndon, VA.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that awareness be brought to bullying & suicide, and the problems this dilemma is causing tens of thousands of families each year.
