My name is Vanessa. I have lived most of my life in West Michigan and every summer look forward to blueberry season, as nothing beats a Michigan blueberry.

I live by many blueberry fields and always admire how much effort the migrant workers put into such a strenuous job.

I live very close to a place that serves buses of workers food every day.

My husband and I spoke with the owner of the business and got their permission to donate money to cover the cost of some of the workers' meals. I am not disclosing the location to respect privacy.

My husband and I have been selling stuff to save up to donate, but we want to see if we can involve the community so the donation can go farther. That being said, I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in donating to the cause. If so, I have created a GoFundMe to do so.

This is not political and I refuse to make it political.

Everyone is having a difficult time right now, as prices of everything are pretty high.

I don't have much, but I know that I am so incredibly fortunate with what I do have, so if I can help anyone at all, I would really love to.
