<div>As those who know me know my name is Kelly my husband Andy and two children Jacob and Chloe have three dogs and look after dogs as our job we have barley who's 8 in October he's a cavalier cross Spaniel luna who's a saint bernard and darcey who's a Spaniel today has been one of the worst days of my life when I got up and done my usual routine barley ate his breakfast as normal with his sister and brother the boarders were fed in another room seperate and was then given a pigs ear as a treat which as normal with a treat he took upstairs to bury and save for later while he went and did that I went into lounge to see to the boarders here holidaying I heard a bang and presumed that barley was getting a toy from his box in the hall he loves his babies and teddies and likes to carry them around on opening the door I noticed barley was unable to stand up and was falling after a few minutes I decided to wrap him in a blanket and run to vets at top of the road were he had to stay until they had refered us to Chester gate as they thought it was neurological so we waited until lunch when they rang and told us to pick him up and take him Chester gates.. The most upsetting thing was the girl running out to the van to ask for 55pound while I cant breathe from carrying barley into van as he can't walk.. Any way that's a conversion I'll have with them tomorrow when I've stopped crying.. I'm crying as am typing this because those who know me know how much I love my dog I rang the insurance to find out how to go about things only to be told I can only claim 1 thousand pounds 100of which is excess to be paid barley is currently at Chester gates getting blood tests heart check may need fluid taken from his spine and an Mri to check what's going own as a whopping cost of 4 grand he's totally worth it but I didn't realize after paying insurance same one nearly 8years from pup this would happen and would be covered for 4 grand at most and only one thousand per condition a year this will not even make a dent if it comes back he needs  surgery the cost will go from four grand to 7500 I don't want to lose my boy and would really appriciate any help that any one can offer to help the burden if I'm totally honest with every one things are very difficult at the moment am about to go into an iva for debt and both myself and Andy tried to set up a payment plan to cover it and failed they said we could spread it over three months so any help would be appriciated as things are hard enough at the moment and while are business is running smooth this month we quieten off in the winter and have very little coming in barley is the best most loyal dog and has been the face of pampered posh paws since a pup he comforts my son who has a asd adhd diagnosis and is currently off his meds awaiting a routine check on his own heart things are difficult at the moment and I really want to bring my boy home will need adaptions bigger gates as he used to jump them so that won't happen any more ❤️❤️ I've never asked for any think in my life and have always been there to help any one I can and asking for just a little help thank you for reading update mri scan come back with barley has a slipped disk and liquid has come out into his spine onto the nerves which is why he's unable to move his legs or stand up barley is back home with us with pain meds anti inflammation pills we have to lift him in and out to the garden on two harness but he's still not changed and won't toilet he peed on himself in the night and seems very sad but has gone from a happy energetic boy to lying there he's going to need extensive physio and hydro therapy this is going to be so costly and we still need to pay more money to Chester gates every penny will help us and out family thank you
