Salam alaikom brothers and sisters,
our islamic congregation in the city of Norrkoping in Sweden are raising money for the first mosque with minaret in the city. The mosque will be situated in the centre of Norrkoping. We finished the construction of the base concrete plate this autumn as you can see in the photo, now we are entering in second phase, raising money for construction of the walls, the roof and the cupole.
It will cost somewhere close to 400 000$. This is Sadaqutal Jariyah (ongoing charity, continuous rewards) which will benefit those who donate for the sake of Allah on the Day of judgment when we stand in front of Allah.
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him likewise in Paradise.” [Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim]
“Whoever build a mosque for Allah – be it large or small – Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” [Sunan al-Tirmidhî – and graded as good (hasan) by al-Albânî]
