Donations to aid Cancer and Dementia Research

Hi everyone. If you are seeing this go fund me page, then you are currently sitting with us at our wedding and enjoying a drink and a memorable time with us. Youve also chosen to donate to 2 wonderful causes that are very close to our hearts. Firstly, THANK YOU. Thank you for playing some role in attempting to wipe these horrible diseases for future generations so that they don't have to go through what we all and our loved ones have.

In 2021, Brendon and his family started noticing small changes in his beautiful Mum, Jenny, at the age of 62. It started with forgetting where her keys were, or mixing up the dogs names. 2 years on at 64, she is no longer able to string a sentence together properly, conduct personal care for herself such as showering, or be unsupervised at any time. This disease has stripped her of her mind, her soul and her dignity.

In 2023 after surviving a major heart surgery, Bradly's father, Graham, was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer. It started with small inconsistencies and then one day he was rushed straight from the GP to the hospital for surgery to remove part of his bowel. After chemo and surgery, he still endures side effects from this foul disease.

These are just 2 of 100 stories we could personally tell of these horrendous diseases. These stories dont include the 1000's of stories that you all could contribute.

We hope that by playing some small part in donating to further research, that we all might one day live in a world where Cancer and Dementia do not exist.
