Wes and family, Berry Creek, CA Wildfire victims

I don't even know how to begin this. I think I'm still in shock.
Here goes:
I have been best friends with Westley for 31 of the 37 years I have been on this earth. I wish I could describe with words the love and bond we have built over that time but it feels somewhat futile to try and do it justice with the brevity required of this excerpt. To put it in the fewest words, his first and only child is named Prem, my name. I would do anything for him and his family. 

Westley, his baby boy Prem, and his wife Melanie lived in a small mountain town called Berry Creek, CA. Tragically, on Tuesday September 8th the hibernating bear fire of Northern California awoke and razed Berry Creek to the ground. In the blink of an eye my best friend, his wife and his son, lost everything. Their beautiful home and home business were burned to ashes in one of the quickest firestorms in the history of California. Everything he has worked for, for the last decade, turned to dust. The entire town of Berry Creek ceased to exist in a matter of hours. 

I am creating this gofundme to help them get back on their feet. We are so lucky that they are still here with us. The fire consumed the town so fast they didn't even have time to grab important things, family heirlooms, family pictures from the house. I can't even fathom how it must feel to lose everything in a matter of moments. To sit across the bridge, and watch it all burn. 

My purpose with this fundraiser is to get them a small nest egg that they may not have to worry about rent or food for the time being, and perhaps maybe even get them enough money to start anew. 

I only ask that you give what you are able to give. Small or large every donation will be greatly appreciated and go toward helping a family left destitute from the California wildfires have a chance to start a new life. I will personally be immensely grateful for anything you can do to help my best friend and his family in their greatest time of need.
