Donations for the Attarian Family

Emergency Service Unit Truck Six members are raising money to donate to our fellow member Detective Steve Attarian whose wife, Kelly, recently passed away due to 9/11 cancer which she was diagnosed with while pregnant with their baby Luke. She courageously fought ovarian cancer caused by her days helping at Ground Zero and then at the Staten Island Dump. If you are a member of the NYPD...they are both FAMILY. Steve and Kelly met while working together in OCCB...Steve then went on to ESU and Kelly on to Evidence Collection. Steve selflessly took care of another member of our truck, Louis Fernandez, who also died of 9/11 cancer a few years ago and continues to help his family. He is always there for anyone to lend a helping hand and we should be there for him now. Kelly was a tough female cop and fought hard but lost her fight to cancer recently. If you are not a member of the service please realize that she sacrificed her life, a life with her loving husband and new born son to help the people of this city during its worst day...helping your family members, your friends, and complete strangers. Please donate and help us set up a fund for Steve and Baby Luke.
