Donations For Shelterlink

Hey guys,

I just wanted to share that I’ve teamed up with shelterlink Stratford/Perth in an effort to try and make a big donation to help them out during the holidays and the next coming weeks. Obviously we are in some unprecedented times and we are lucky to be able to be in a home with our family and have all of our necessary needs right when we need it. But for some this isn’t the case. Shelterlink Stratford/Perth is an organization destined to try and keep youth in our community (16-25) from being homeless. You might say well I don’t see anyone on the street where I live asking for money or sleeping outside. That’s because more than 80% of Canada’s homeless are improperly housed or on the verge of eviction. Currently in perth county there are over 100 homeless youth. Homeless youth are more likely to die than their peers. So as the government announced another 28 day lockdown, some might be upset, angry and confused but think about what it would be like to be homeless and how good you really have it right now.
