Donations For Noel The Kitten’s Surgery

Donation protected

I found Noel, an 8 to 10 week old kitten, on Christmas Day (hence the name) with a badly injured arm that caused him to limp and his injury made it easy for me to capture him. We took him to the vet after he was progressively loosing strength and consciousness after having him for a day. He truly was near death. The vet discovered he had a huge abscess in his arm which caused him to have a dangerously low white blood cell count. He also has an upper respiratory infection. He recently went into surgery to remove the abscess, but it was difficult for him to breathe afterwards because of the respiratory infection so he is on an oxygen tank. We aren’t 100% sure he will make it, but we and the vet are hopeful. The biggest expense is his daily stay at the vet. He is in intensive care and they’re doing a fabulous job treating him 24/6, but keeping him there is costs around $310 a day. The only other option would be to give him up and put him in a government-run vet hospital. Of course we don’t want to give him up and put him in a place that will not give him the best treatment, especially for his very fragile age and state post-surgery. Anyways, thank you so much in advance for choosing to donate or share his story. Thank you to those who already reached out to me, prayed for him, and gave me words of encouragement.
