<div>Constantin Leahu and his beautiful boy Andrei were lost at sea when the fishing boat they were on capsized on July 13, 2024.

<div>They leave behind Constantine’s wife Elena Venera and their four young daughters, Anamaria, Daria, Elizabeth and Melanie. Their loss and grief are insurmountable. We are collecting funds to help secure the family’s immediate and future needs, medical bills, and other expenses.

<div>Constantin’s sense of humor, selfless nature, and unwavering faith in the goodness of God make him one of the most generous, loving, and wholehearted friends any of us will ever know. Deeply committed to his faith, always willing to go above and beyond for anyone, a loving father and husband, he leaves behind not only a heartbroken family but an entire community that will never recover from such a loss.

<div>His greatest pride and joy were his five children, and the beautiful life he built alongside his wife Venera.

<div>Andrei was their second oldest and had turned 11 the day before this terrible incident. Incredibly bright, funny, and a social butterfly, Andrei was beloved anywhere he went. He loved his sisters openly and sincerely, helped often in church, and always had a mischievous twinkle in his eye. Losing Andrei at such a tender age has left us all shocked, heart stricken, and devastated.

<div>It is our goal to provide as much financial support in these trying times, as well as later on. We hope to show, in our own way, what an incredible impact Constantin and Andrei made on us—not just as individuals but as a community.

<div>Constantin was a self-employed general contractor and was the only income in their household. So the financial need is great, since Elena is still raising young daughters.

<div>Sambătă 13 iulie 2024 a devenit cea mai tristă zi din viața familiei Leahu.
</div>
<div>Constantin și fiul său cel drag Andrei, în timp ce se întorceau de la pescuit în apropiere de Astoria, OR, barca lor s-a răsturnat neașteptat și au fost înghițiți de valurile nemiloase ale oceanului.
</div>
<div>Cu toată strădania celor de la Coast Guard care i-au căutat neîntrerupt timp de 11 ore, trupurile lor nu au mai fost găsite.
</div>
<div>Lasă în urma lor 5 suflete pe veci nemângâiate - soția Venera dimpreună cu cele patru fetițe: Ana-Maria, Daria, Elizabeth și Melanie.

<div>Dorința noastră este de a le fi alături în aceste clipe cumplit de grele și de aceea dorim să facem o colectă de bani pentru a ajuta familia rămasă și a le asigura un confort financiar atât de moment cât și pe viitor.

<div>Simțul umorului, spiritul civic și credința de neclintit l-au făcut pe Constantin unul dintre cei mai generoși, iubitori și mărinimosi prieteni pe care ți i-ai fi putut dori vreodată.

<div>Într-o profundă și statornică legătură cu credința lui ortodoxă, mereu dispus să ajute pe oricine, un soț și un tată iubitor lasă în urma sa nu doar o familie îndurerată ci și o întreaga comunitate care nu-i va uita și nu va fi împăcată vreodată cu această pierdere.

<div>Bucuria,mândria si satisfacția lui au reprezentat-o cei 5 copii ai săi dimpreună cu Venera alături de care și-a clădit o viață frumoasă și plină de sens.

<div>Andrei a fost al doilea lor născut împlinind vârsta de 11 ani cu o zi înainte de teribilul accident.
</div>

<div>Veșnic senin, amuzant și foarte sociabil, Andrei era imediat iubit oriunde mergea. Și-a iubit surorile nespus luând foarte în serios titlul de frate protector.
</div>

</div>
<div>Era foarte activ în viața bisericii ajutând la slujbe în altar și dând dovadă de o răbdare rar întâlnită la copiii de vârsta lui.
</div>
<div>Felul în care te privea și sclipirea pe care o avea în ochi îți spunea că ai în față un copil cu o inteligență peste medie.
</div>
<div>Pierderea lui Andrei la o vârstă atât de fragedă ne-a lăsat pe toți cu inimile frânte și zdrobiți de durere.
</div>
<div>Țelul nostru este să reușim să le oferim un suport financiar cat mai consistent atât în aceste momente de grea încercare cat și de acum înainte pentru viitor.
</div>
<div>Ne dorim să arătăm în felul acesta ce impact puternic a avut Constantin nu doar asupra noastră ca indivizi ci asupra întregii comunități.

<div>Să ne unim cu toții și împreună să formăm o forță de neclintit clădită pe iubire și suport pentru persoanele pe care familia lor și noi le-am iubit atât de mult.
