Single Father Needs Surgery

A young man in our Cookeville/Livingston, TN community, the single father of two young daughters, is in desperate need of emergency dental surgery. He was taken to the hospital on July 25th because he has developed a severe oral infection. His pain level is so extreme that it is preventing him from working to provide for his children, and he is not able to afford the care he needs. 
 
It has been difficult to see him in so much pain with no options for relief because of his financial situation. He had a rough childhood, he has made mistakes, and his life has seen low points--just like that of so many challenged with hurdles in life.  He has turned his life around and works hard to support his daughters. 
 
Part of the inspiration for us to coordinate this effort has been the recent passing of an amazing woman in our lives. An adoring mother, loving friend, and generous community member, she could never see a person in need without being moved to help. Her kindness was felt by many over the years. 

In that spirit, we hope that—with the help of our community and his—we can come together to raise the money necessary to help this man & his daughters with these medical expenses. We need to raise $8000 to prevent this family falling through the cracks.
