Please help GSP Matz with his Medical Treatment

This is our youngster, GSP MATZ, found tied with nylon rope to a fence early in the morning, February 7. He had been left tied up with another GSP youngster who we have named ODELLA.
Both youngsters were taken straight to our vet for assessment and any medical attention required. MATZ is just 6 months of age, his first teeth are almost through. He was fraught with worry when we found him, we have no idea how long he had been tied up but we expect his former hunter owners, of which we have a lot in the area, had left him and ODELLA when it was still dark.
MATZ was not microchipped, he was very unwell and had to have several days of assistance via an infusion to save his life. On arrival he had bronchopneumonia, a fever of 40 degrees, a urinary, ear and eye infection, broken nails, several bite injuries, diarrea, scabies in his ears and an itchy skin infection. All the signs that this young male had had a very rough start to his life. He tested clear to Heartworm, Distemper and all other infectious diseases.
We are now 16 days on from his rescue, MATZ remains under medication for his bacterial skin infection, our vet has said he can come to our rescue centre to continue with his meds and get used to a new caring lifestyle, something that he hasn’t been used to in his past.
The vet bill for MATZ has come to around €900.00 we have received €250.00 which leaves a shortfall of €650, or the equivalent in GBP of approximately £562.00. GOFUNDME take their own fee from a fundraised so we have set our target at £590.00 to cover the fees.
Our vet expects our little MATZ to make a full recovery but he will need a few months. Whilst he waits with us, we hope to have time to raise all the funds for his vet bill.
