Donations for Fire Evacuation in BC

My name is Dahna Allison. I am a fellow horse lover from Langley BC. I am Raising money to help Sherri Hoot, an experienced horse woman and friend cover costs with evacuation horses she is generously housing and caring for. I reached out to Sherri when I heard she and fellow transporters had successfully evacuated 20 Morgan horses to her ranch, Birch Springs Ranch in the kamloops community.  Expenses will add up over time. Sherri is now covering cost of feed as well as responsible for the daily care of theses horses. Not only do these horses need to be fed but there are a lot of daily chores Associated with the care of these animals. The costs of hay alone is adding up. Sherri is providing her volunteers with a cold drink and food for their time and effort. This is going to be an Ongoing effort. There is no quick fix to the loss and devastation suffered by so many of our BC neighbours. Any funds donated will be used appropriately and all donations above the costs of care and feed for theses horses will be donated back to victims of the BC fire fund raisers.
