My dear friend, Dian Boone, from Greenville has had a difficult time in 2019-2020 due to several health challenges in addition to losing her home.
In the latter part of 2019, she had hip replacement surgery in Charlotte, NC where she lived for many months afterwards with a close friend. She returned to Greenville on January 13, 2020 to discover her townhome was flooded due to a burst pipe. She lost her townhome and all of its contents. Nothing was able to be salvaged. Since Dian is a widow and has no immediate family, she has relied on the help of her cousin in Woodland, NC where she has lived for the last several months.
Dian is now living in a camper near Greenville, NC. She is retired, but supplemented her income with a dog sitting business. She is still recovering from her hip replacement surgery and is unable to work at this time. Dian needs help getting back on her feet.
We know this is a difficult time for everyone for many different reasons. Donations and prayers are appreciated.
