Donations for Derick

About a month ago, a man named Derick moved from Nebraska to Colorado for a better opportunity! He is 21, and he got a job with my Father in laws company, that he found from a craigslist add. He was living in his car since he moved here with nothing. All his family is still in Nebraska, and due to health issues his mother has, he doesnt let her know that he is struggling. He doesn't want to worry her! Recently his tire popped on his car, and he has been waking up early enough to get to the bus, and go to work. Nothing has stopped him. He received the amount he needed to get into a place with a man who posted looking for a roommate, early from his paycheck. So now he does have a place to stay! I have collected many things clothes, food, and bedroom necessities for him to complete this start of his new journey! But being mindful that he is now out X amount of money, and may need a few more things including his tire fixed. He has been such a hard worker. He has shown up and made it work anyway he needed to! Mind you, they have jobs all over Colorado! & he knows he needs to work, and I want to help him out as much as I can. He is so humble. My husband and I let him stay here a few nights so far. As my husband works for the company as well, and they would drive to work together. He doesnt sit here and talk about what hes going through. He doesnt ask for a thing, even though he needs help! If you can even donate a dollar. Or we can reach a little amount it would help very much. And he would be surprised and very happy that so many people believe in him! I cant imagine what hes going through but coming together, and helping this young man out, will drive him even MORE, if that's possible. Thank you all!!!
